Jamp ❝ the first disodorant ❞

Everything started in 1895, when my great-grandfather Filippo Ricciuti opened his apothecary in Caserta, to the South of Italy. He was an alchemist, and in the early 1900s his skills were renowned all-around Italy.
He patented Lecitarsile, a substance he created in his small workshop made of a wooden table and a few essential tools. He extracted this substance from egg yolk and distributed it in Murano glass vials to children with no appetite and to anyone who felt weak. Lecitarsil was a tonic-replenishing agent whose effect could not be compared to any other product on the market. Soon, everywhere in Italy doctors were asking for it: Rome, Milan, Turin and even the Royal House. Hundreds of letters arrived and it would be difficult to share them all, but you can find some of them here below.
Since 1895, for more than 125 years, the family tradition has continued passing on to my grandparents, Luigi and Maria Ricciuti, then to my mother, Laura Ricciuti. Now is me and my brother Lorenzo’s turn, and we represent the fourth generation of pharmacists in the family.
One day something just clicked in me. I wanted to follow my great grandfather’s steps, and I feel I have managed to do that with Jamp – the first zero-odour disodorant.

Sales increased exponentially year after year. My customers were overjoyed to have their sweat and odour problem solved and would never change Jamp for any other product.
That moment I thought about how many people in the world have the same needs to be met, so I decided to make it available all over the WORLD. Sweat keeps people away from each other, and this is my way of bringing them back together!
